Django Nathan, a medical doctor with a degree in molecular biology and genetics, takes peptides because of his busy lifestyle: "Quite a few doctors I know are using them because they have so many beneficial effects and so few side effects. We're not elite athletes – we live rushed lives that can involve 70 hour weeks so staying fit and getting good sleep is essential – and peptides aid that."
Then there’s colostrum. Colostrum is packed with growth factors, including IGF-1, that amplify lean muscle gains and increase the body’s ability to burn fat. In many studies, colostrum has been shown to restore IGF-1 and stimulate IGF-1 production. Colostrum is also a natural immunity drug, containing antibodies and antigens that knock out disease-causing agents such as bacteria, viruses, and fungi.
In June 2007, the NDPSC decided to extend the exemption from the limit on paracetamol combinations being allowed as general sale products to include phenylephrine (as long as it also qualified as exempt from scheduling through the phenylephrine entries). At that time, the NDPSC considered that the safety profile of these substances was such that allowing a fixed combination to be unscheduled was reasonable.
We found that osteoarthritic rabbits administered intra-articular AOD9604 injections had better outcomes with lesser morphological and histolopathological damage than was observed in the control group. AOD9604 is a disulphide-constrained peptide that comprises 15 amino acids from the C-terminal sequence of human GH and an additional N-terminal tyrosine residue: YLRIVQCRSVEGSCGF . The exact mechanism underlying the action of GH in OA is unknown. Previous studies have shown that GH can act directly on the growth plate by stimulating local production of IGF-1 and by increasing cartilage metabolism [9,16] and chondrocyte proliferation . Although AOD9604 is not a high-affinity agonist of the GH receptor and does not stimulate the proliferation of cells transfected with the GH receptor, it retains some functions of GH . Initially, AOD9604 was investigated for the treatment of obesity in humans. In rodent models of obesity, AOD9604 showed a similar effect of weight loss as that observed with GH . However, AOD9604 does not induce diabetes and does not stimulate the production of IGF-1 .
Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used in the management of mild to moderate pain and inflammation in conditions such as dysmenorrhoea, headache including migraine, post-operative pain, dental pain, musculoskeletal and joint disorders such as ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis including juvenile idiopathic arthritis, peri-articular disorders such as bursitis and tenosynovitis, and soft tissue disorders such as sprains and strains. It is also used to reduce fever.
Even, if you are not a fitness enthusiast, you can benefit from using the CJC 1295 Ipamorelin blend. Australia is one of the countries using them to deal with other conditions, which can affect our everyday life. There is an abundance of anti-aging clinics across the Australia that follows strict legal guidelines to sell peptides. Based in Sydney Peptides Clinics, has a good selection of peptides, to help with many conditions that occur with age, from hair loss, depression, fat loss, low libido and tanning.
Technically, it is a “protein-peptide hormone” which means that it consists of 70 amino acids bonded together. Just like the peptides I’ve written about in the past, this means that it must be injected, because otherwise IGF-1 simply degrades in the gut, rendering it useless. Your own human growth hormone release promotes the synthesis of IGF-1 in your liver (and to smaller amounts, synthesis of IGF-1 by your muscles), your liver and muscles then synthesize IGF-1 and then, in the case of your liver, subsequently package the IGF-1 with binding proteins for transport into the blood. In a type of anabolic positive-feedback loop, IGF-1 then further increases growth hormone’s anabolic effects.
Resting plasma concentrations (mean±SEM) of mature ANP and Nt‐proANP were 14±2 pg/mL and 4±0.6 pg/mL at baseline. After gastric bypass surgery, the resting plasma concentrations rose to 24±5 pg/mL and 7±0.7 pg/mL for ANP and Nt‐proANP (increased by 23% and 43%), respectively (P=0.016 and 0.008). Absolute concentrations of ANP and Nt‐proANP were higher in individuals after bypass surgery at all acute time points during and after administration of intravenous saline (Figure 1A and 1B; P<0.001). A secondary analysis, adjusted for age, sex, and mean arterial pressure yielded similar results.
The increase in GH secretion due to IPAMORELIN (and other GHRP) leads to an increase in IGF-1 (thought to be the anabolic mechanism of GH). As we get older GH and subsequently IGF-1 decrease substantially. This decline is thought to be one of the major causes of the ageing process. By increasing these levels again there is increased collagen synthesis, promotion of lean muscle mass, bone strength, improved healing capability, improved sleep cycle, increased energy, repair and regeneration of internal organs, strengthening of joints/cartilage/connective tissue, and anti ageing effects on the skin.
The scheduling of paracetamol and caffeine when combined in a compound analgesic as the only active ingredients was again reviewed by the NDPSC at its 57th Meeting in October 2009 after the Committee had received a request to reconsider the scheduling on the grounds of potential toxicity if used in excess. This issue had been extensively reviewed at the June 2007 meeting and it was decided that Schedule 2 remained appropriate.
For Growth Hormone (GH) to perform its anabolic (muscle building) affects it requires the presence of the body's most anabolic hormone: insulin. This is in contrast to GH related fat loss which requires insulin to be absent. However, since GHRP and fast-acting GHRH (Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone) products (i.e. Modified GRF 1-29) still need time to stimulate the body to release GH from the pituitary gland, the insulin spike must come after the injection and not before, otherwise the GH release will be blunted.
•Avoid eating/drinking anything with calories for three (3) hours either side of your injection. •Try to make all your meals throughout the day high protein, low fat and low carbohydrates (eg. meat/fish with vegetables/salad). •Have as few meals as possible during the day as periods of fasting have been shown in many studies to improve fat loss and also longevity (i.e. eating less will make you live longer).
Another side effect of the CJC-1295 is acromegaly, since it helps in increasing the levels of the growth hormone. Acromegaly is a condition where extra growth hormone is released even after the internal organs and the skeleton have finished growing. This causes thickening of the skin, deepening of voice, enlargement of jaws, and slurring of speech. Another effect of acromegaly is the swelling of the soft tissue in the internal organs. This could result in the weakening of the muscles of the internal organs, like the heart. This was tested during the phase 2 testing of CJC-1295.
Some of these chains are pivotal in stimulating the release of natural human growth hormone (HGH), an element within the body that naturally declines significantly as we age. The hormone acts to repair and maintain our body, and as the levels of HGH reduce in our body the ability to fight aging, maintain vitality and manage our overall health declines.
AOD9604 is promoted heavily by various manufacturers as a substance that is able to burn fat and assist in the repair of muscle and cartilage. The fact that this product derives from, and claims to mimic the effects of a powerfully anabolic banned substance provides a psychological incentive to many potential users, as does the attention drawn by the AFL "peptides" scandal of early 2013 and the subsequent report by the Australian Crime Commission (1).
Advanced Obesity Drug 9604 (AOD9604), targets fat metabolism directly by enhancing the breakdown of stored fats and inhibiting the synthesis of new fats. It is a peptide drug derived from the fat-reducing activity of human growth hormone (hGH). hGH has been shown to cause fat reduction, but is not suitable as an anti-obesity drug as it also causes an increase in muscle, organ and bone mass as well as causing diabetes to develop. The effectiveness of hGH declines in older people, correlating with the tendency to put on weight as one gets older. In support of this, the clinical trials so far have shown a greater effect of AOD9604 in the older population.
The rabbits were clinically observed daily at 14:00. The rabbits were placed on a 2-m2 ground area, and gait was individually assessed by direct observation for 20 minutes. The knee and ankle of the intact rabbit limb showed typical flexion and extension cycle during hopping. Lameness was defined as the inability to bear weight and the loss of typical flexion and extension cycle of the affected limb during hopping compared with that of the unaffected limb. The severity of lameness was not quantified. The time taken to return to normal ambulation without lameness of the affected limb was recorded for each group. The lameness period was checked by three independent physiatrists who did not have knowledge of the experimental groups.
Thymosin beta-4 (TB-4): A naturally occurring protein found in blood platelets, TB-4 plays a role in the repair and regeneration of injured tissues in the human body. It was first detected in the thymus, a gland that produces white blood cells. While it’s recently been used to treat horses and implicated in horse doping, it’s also found its way into bodybuilding circles. While there is no published evidence that TB-4 produces any benefit to athletes, it was added to the WADA banned substances list in 2011.
Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide, meaning that it is composed of five amino acids, that mimics the body’s natural GH release. Ipamorelin is a growth hormone releasing peptide (GHRP) and analogue of the hormone Ghrelin. It induces GH release and increases the number of somatarophs(cells responsible for GH release) in a GH pulse by suppressing somatostatin.
In June 2011 the Advisory Committee on Medicines Scheduling was referred a proposal by the delegate to consider up-scheduling of five (5) then unscheduled substances contained in cold and cough preparations into Schedule 2. One of these substances was phenylephrine and many public submissions received rejected this proposal on the grounds of the paracetamol/phenylephrine exemptions in the Schedule 2 entry. The committee made similar comments and the delegate agreed that the current exempt from scheduling status of phenylephrine was appropriate.
The levels of plasma glycerol were determined according to the method previously described (8) and expressed as a change from d 0 values. The amount of glycerol present in the plasma was enzymatically assayed using glycerol phosphate oxidase reactions (catalog no. GPO-337, Sigma Diagnostics, St. Louis, MO). Plasma glycerol was determined using a spectrophotometer and converted to micromoles per deciliter.
To obtain the best results from a fat loss program, and the most amount of fat loss from your peptide supplementation, you should be following a diet which is high in protein, moderate in healthy fats and low in carbohydrates, and be physically active. At the very least you should be doing some high-intensity lifting a couple of times a week alongside the implementation of cardio. You should also have your hormone levels balanced to optimise your metabolism.
For the Anti-Aging crowd, we recommend choosing only 1 peptide, rather than a combination. The reason for this is that as you get older your GH levels decline rapidly and therefore you will benefit from any kind of GH increase meaning there is no need to overdo things with multiple peptides. If you wish to use more than one peptide, we recommend cycling a GHRP product (GHRP-6, GHRP-2 or Ipamorelin) every 3-6 months with CJC-1295 DAC for two reasons.
Peptide supplementation is fast becoming Australia’s solution to a variety of health, fitness, and age-related concerns. Peptides have been around long before the recent media brought it to our attention through use in elite sport. The simple science of amino acids linked together, via peptide bonds, brings to life this now common word—peptides. Some of the benefits that peptides can assist you with during your journey to health and wellbeing include:
